Many of our clients have be effected by this "KOPA agent", and we at Solenkhi Soft have continued to give free and volunteer services to everyone in need, frustrated and irritated by this inhuman act and insanity that some people call joke; as one of them said it is very easy to harm others, but most difficult is to do something good for others.

 

As requested but our esteem customers and friends we have put up the simple remedy to get rid of this unwanted KOPA Agent.

Removing KOPA Agent from the registry.

  1. Start menu > Run > type "regedit" and click "OK"
  2. Ctrl + F to bring up the Find box [Edit menu > Find]
  3. Find and remove any registry found with these two keywords
    1. SYSTEMLB.EXE
    2. KOPA.EXE

 

Location in registry is

"My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\run"

 

Removing from the Registry will ensure that it will not restart again, but we have to also remove the one that is already started.

Removing KOPA Agent from Processes

1.      Open the Task Manager [Right click on Task bar and click on Task Manager]

2.      Click on the Processes Tab

3.      Find and End Process by the name SYSTEMLB.EXE

 

Making the KOPA Agent visible

 

Open the Windows Explorer [Start menu > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer]

 

Three changes need to the options to see the KOPA Agent file.

In the Windows Explorer click on Tools menu > Folder options > View tab

Check the "Display the contents of system folders"

Click on the radio button "Show hidden files and folders"

Check the "Hide protected operating sytem files"

 

Click "OK" to close the option box

Deleting the Source files

Open the folder "C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch"

 

Delete the files

1. SYSTEMLB.EXE-2926B5EA.pf

2. KOPA.EXE-2B4F3998.pf

NOTE: the numbers after .EXE- may vary from computer to computer

Don’t forget USB Pen Flash Disk

Also find the KOPA.EXE in the Removable Disk, the source of spreading of this program.

 

Empty them from Recycle Bin also
